HENRY W. PETERS Henry Peters passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at the Grace Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Helen (nee Wiebe) Peters; brothers, David, Peter and Jake; sisters, Anna, Margaret (Henry), Helen (George), brothers-in-law, Peter and John and nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife Anne; son Gerry (Donagh); daughter Colita (Fraser); grand-children, Andrew and Christy; sisters, Tina and Eva; brother John (Hilda); sister-in-law Nellie and many nieces and nephews. He was born on February 21, 1928 in Niverville, MB. In his youth he enjoyed horses, played guitar, sang and yodelled. He worked at various jobs until 1953. Then at Coca Cola until 1990. He was a caring, serving person who was actively involved with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) for 20 years. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Temple. A viewing will be held one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba, 1031 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 0R8.
