LILLIAN ENGBERT Lil was born on January 1, 1930 at home in Lundar, MB. She peacefully passed away April 15, 2007 at Eriksdale Hospital at the age of 77. Left to cherish her memory is her sister Aurora; sons, Lloyd, Gordon, Stuart, Larry, Daniel, and Berry; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lil was predeceased by her husband Lorne; parents, Daniel and Margret Lindal; brothers, Ingolfur, Trausti, Norman, and Allan. Lil always had a caring heart and was continuously ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, and was an active volunteer with the Ladies Auxiliary. She was full of life and always enjoyed a good laugh with her friends. Lil enjoyed a simple, quiet life while living in Lundar with her sister Aurora. The girls could almost always be seen together and were almost inseparable but God has bigger plans. Even though she has gone to a better place she will be greatly missed. A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2007 at the Lundar Lutheran Church with Pastor Trudy Thorarinson officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment to follow in the Lundar Municipal Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her six sons. The family would like to give a special thanks to Anita Kristynson for all the help she has provided and to all those who lent a helping hand. Should friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory. Thank you Mom for all the years of love and care you gave to us.
