NATALIE ELAINE (Nettie) CHOMA (nee DOROSH) Passed away quietly at the Seven Oaks Hospital on March 31, 2007, following a brief illness. Nettie was born November 7, 1916 in Winnipeg and spent most of her life in the city. In 1944, she married Michael Choma, who predeceased her in January, 1956. Before her retirement, she worked for Child and Family Services of Eastern Manitoba. Nettie was an avid Bingo player and lawnbowler, in addition to being a long time active member of the Broadway Optimists Club. She is survived by sons Wayne and Patrick, one sister Olive Osadchuk, her only brother Nick Dorosh, one brother-in-law Lloyd Laver, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to husband Mike, Nettie was predeceased by sisters Ann, Mary, Jean and Peggy, and by two nieces. Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the Christian Life Assembly, 1042 Jefferson Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations to this church in her name would be appreciated.
