She leaves to mourn her son Earl, daughter Vivian Unger (Bruce), grandchildren, Tim Unger of Calgary, Gwen Debler (Brent) of Beechy, SK, Angela Zabalotney (Corey) of Medicine Hat, and great-grandchildren, Terrence, Simone, Dallas and Sidney. Evelyn was born in Brandon, Manitoba on July 2, 1910. She was the second of seven children born to Mabel and Frank Davis who later moved to Saskatchewan. Evelyn received most of her education in Hawarden, and then went on to Normal School in Regina after which she taught school for a number of years. While teaching at Waterside school near Demaine she met her future husband Eilert. They farmed there until retiring in 1967 when they moved to Saskatoon. Eilert passed away in 1983 and in 2004 Evelyn moved to Winnipeg to live with her son. You will be sadly missed along life's way Quietly remembered day by day Those we love don't go away You will be with us each and every day No longer in our lives to share But in our hearts forever there.
