ADA CRADDOCK (nee THOULD) July 11, 1932 - April 15, 2007 It is with great sadness, but with loving memories that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend on Sunday, April 15, 2007. She will be forever missed by her husband Bert; her daughter Joanne (Rick) Gilbert, her son Robert (Crystal) and her daughter Sandy (Wayne) Graff; her grandchildren, Bryon, Kendra, Meghan, Jodie, Jordy, Amy, Lisa and Alex. She is survived by her sister Peggy (Gord) Phillips; her sisters-in-law, Hildred Thould and Yvonne (Bill) Templin; and many nieces and nephews. Ada was born and raised in Winnipeg where she lived in Transcona and Fort Rouge for most of her young life, all through school she excelled in sports and was an honour roll student at Earl Grey School. Mom worked for Richardson and Sons (Pioneer Grain) for over 20 years and will be missed by a great many friends. She also enjoyed many hours playing bingo, bowling, baseball and curling and won many trophies and awards with her love of sports. Mom had a great zest for life and nothing could keep her down. When mom and dad retired to the home they built in Sandy Hook it was the best years of their lives. The family would like to express their gratitude to all staff at Betel Home Foundation (Selkirk), 6th wing, for their kindness and support. We invite all family and friends to join us on Saturday, April 21, 2007, 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at The Waterfront Centre, 5th floor (Johnson Hall), 94 - 1st Avenue, Gimli, MB to celebrate the life of this wonderful woman. Should friends so desire, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in her memory. Thank you mom for all the years of love and care you gave to us. You will be forever in our hearts! Gilbart Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
