MILDRED DORSETT (nee TILLETT) Peacefully on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, our beloved mother, grandma and great-grandma passed away at Vista Park Lodge, at the age of 97. Mom's life and memory will continue in the family she leaves behind. She will be forever loved and missed by her son Tom and wife Arlene, granddaughters, Donna (Jim), Debra (Gerry) and grandson David (Lisa), and great-grandchildren, Stefani, Ryan, Payton, Jayme and T. J. She also leaves to mourn her passing her sisters-in-law, Irene Tillett of Selkirk, MB, and Mabel Dorsett of Gloucester, ON, numerous nieces and nephews, and her faithful friend Ida. She was predeceased by her husband Don in 1990, son David, brothers Fred and Cliff Tillett, and sister Evelyn Bouchard. Mom was born in Winnipeg, August 11, 1909. She was a kind and caring person who was always there to help family and friends. Mom's first thoughts were always of others and she will always be remembered for her kindness. She loved to play cards, knit, crochet and took great pride in her garden. She especially enjoyed the many years spent at her cottage at Caddy Lake. While her deteriorating eyesight was frustrating to her, she was full of spunk and energy, and always spoke her mind. Cremation has taken place, and at mom's request, a private family ceremony will be held. She will be reunited with her beloved husband, Don, and much loved and missed son, David. Our family wishes to thank the nursing staff and aides at Vista Park Lodge for the excellent care they provided, and a special thanks to Sharon.
