KATHERINE WENZEL Katherine passed away peacefully April 19, 2007, at the Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her husband Carl. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Otto (Kay), Helen (Harry) and Anna; grandchildren, Harold (Regan), Arnold (Jan), Deborah (Scott), Ronald (Ruth), Michael (Giselle) and 10 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by other extended family and special friends. Katherine was a woman who had little but gave a lot and was a kind and loving Mom and Oma. Her children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren are truly grateful for her unselfish generosity. MOTHER AND OMA You can only have one mother and oma loving, kind and true. No other friend in all the world will be so true to you. For all her loving kindness, she asked for nothing in return. If all the world deserted us, to our mother and oma we could turn. For those of us who have a mother and oma, treasure her with care, for you will never know her value, till you see that she's not there. To hear her voice, to see her smile, to sit and talk with her awhile, to be together in the same old way, would be our dearest wish today. Katherine's family wishes to thank the many persons at the home for their loving care and compassion during her life at the home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home, 1045 Concordia Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2K 3S7. A memorial service will be held at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home, 1045 Concordia, Wednesday, April 25th at 1:30 p.m. A private family interment to take place at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
