ANTONIA WACHNIAN With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our dear mother and grandmother on April 18, 2007 at the age of 79. Toni was predeceased by her beloved husband Steve (2001), son John (2007), parents, Nicholas and Julia Krutiak, brothers, Steve and Harry and sisters, Olga and Stephanie. She leaves to mourn, her daughter Lori Sault (John); her daughter-in-law Karen and grandchildren, Tyler, Jennifer and Cielle. Toni was born in Winnipeg on June 9, 1927 and married Steve in 1952. She worked at Eaton's for ten years, Gambles for seven years and finally at Sears for 16 1/2 years, retiring in 1995. Mom loved to travel, read, knit and was an excellent cook. She loved her family and celebrating at family gatherings. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Antonia's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
