STAN FOX It is with deepest sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of our husband and father, Stanley William Fox on Sunday evening, April 15, 2007 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 64 years. Remaining to forever cherish Stan's memory are his wife Sharon (nee Pickering); son Doug; daughters, Chris and Teresa; two sisters, Elaine Lyons of Winnipeg and Flora Fox of Toronto; two brothers, Thomas Fox (Mary) of Winnipeg and John Fox (Dale) of Balmoral; as well as a much loved extended family of cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Born the fourth child to Richard Russell and Margaret Alice Fox, Stan was born in Stonewall and lived his whole life in Balmoral, Manitoba. Stan started farming full time at the age of 15. He was a progressive and passionate farmer always eager to try the newest technology and practices. Stan was innovative and had the remarkable ability to modify or repair any piece of equipment. He was an honest and straight forward man who tackled every task and project wholeheartedly. A project was never complete until it was done correctly and working the way he had imagined it. Stan had great love and compassion for animals of all kinds. He loved visiting with friends, sharing stories and laughter. Stan had recently retired and was looking forward to playing . There was never any doubt as to how much he loved his family. Everything he did, he did for them. In compliance with Stan's wishes, a private family service has taken place. Stan's family wishes to sincerely thank the doctors, nursing staff and EMS attendants at both Stonewall Hospital and HSC for the care and comfort they provided to Stan as well as his family. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Stan's memory to the Balmoral United Church (window fund), General Delivery, Balmoral, Manitoba R0C 0H0 or to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R2L 1X3. Stan's arrangements have been entrusted to Manitoba's largest Original Family Owned Funeral Service Provider: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 4665
