FRANCES BERNICE JEGIER (nee WNUK) May 25, 1930 April 20, 2007 Peacefully on Friday, April 20, 2007, after a long courageous battle with heart disease, our beloved wife, mother, Babcia and sister passed away with her loved ones at her side. Frances is survived by her beloved husband Czeslaw; daughter Christine (Ron) and two precious grandchildren, Dustin and Braydn; two sisters Victoria Piotrowski and Julia Nawankiewicz; sister-in-law Mary Wnuk along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Maria and Peter Wnuk; brothers Anton and Joseph and sister Martha Dolynchuk. Frances was born in Tolstoi, MB, attended Bradley School, later moved to Winnipeg where she met Czeslaw and together they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 19, 2007. Family was very important to Frances. Frances loved gardening, flowers, cooking, baking (apple pies), playing Bingo, knitting and crocheting. She always enjoyed when family and friends came to visit. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, April 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 25 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Polish National Church, with Very Rev. Msgr. Wesley Cwieka as officiant. Interment to follow in Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews Jerry, Greg, and Jeff Wnuk, Felix Nawankiewicz, Garry Dolynchuk and Stanley Piotrowski. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons Dustin and Braydn Ducharme.
