GERHARD H. BLECHINGER (GARY) On Saturday, April 14, 2007, Gary passed away at St. Boniface Hospital after a long and hard fight. He is survived by his brother Harold. He will be sadly missed by his soulmate, friend, companion Donna; and her sons and extended family: Tyler (Joann) and Emilie; Todd (Olga) and Tadd (Lynn) and Brayden and Chelsey. Gary was a long time employee of Intergraphics Decal. His passions were hockey, soccer, and an avid fisherman. For the past six years, he was involved with Kids Fishing for a Cure in Selkirk as a boat operator. The family wishes to thank Dr. S. Zieroth and Estrellita Estrella-Holder at the Heart Failure Clinic, and the doctors and staff on the palliative care ward. Also thank you to the home care staff and nurses, especially Ola and Monique. Cremation has taken place at Gary's request. A memorial of remembrance will be held Wednesday, April 25 at Transcona Alliance Church, 751 Kildare Ave. at 4:00 p.m.
