Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARJORIE MCLEAN On Friday, April 20, 2007, Marjorie M. McLean (McCloy) died a week after her 101st birthday. Marjorie was born April 13, 1906 and lived in Winnipeg most of her long life. She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters and a brother, her husband Calvin McLean, and the following children and grandchildren: daughters, Patricia Miller and Mary-Lou Baragar; son-in-law Bill Miller; granddaughters, Laurie Miller and Valerie Miller, and grandson Drew Baragar. Marjorie is survived by former son-in-law Michael Baragar (Joan), Winnipeg; grandsons, Calvin Miller, Colorado, USA, Scott Baragar (Kathy), London, ON and Marquis Baragar, Winnipeg; granddaughters, Marj-Ann Miller, Glassbro, New Jersey, USA, and Susan Baragar (Mark), Winnipeg, and several great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by the late Bill Miller's sister-in-law Vi Miller, a faithful friend of Marjorie's to the end. Marjorie McLean lived an active and independent life well into her nineties. She was employed until retirement by Imperial Optical in Winnipeg. She travelled, enjoyed membership in the Orange Lodge, curled regularly and attended St. Philip's Anglican Church in St. Boniface. She kept up with what was going on in the world and could hold her own at any family dinner party. She also stepped in to assist with her grandchildren after the sudden death of her daughter in Winnipeg. For their considerate attention, the family thanks the staff at Charleswood Care Centre.
