SYBIL BRESCACIN (nee CALLAGHAN) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother. Sybil passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2007 in the St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 86. Sybil was predeceased by her loving husband Melio (2002), her mother Annie (nee O'Shea), father Hugh, sisters, Rita and Olive, brothers, Patrick, Alfred and William. She is survived by her sons, Lorne and Dean (Gisele Strong), grandchildren, Jason (Lara), Lindsay, Camille, and Casandra, great-grandson Ethan, brothers, Elmer (Norma) and Warren (Heather) and nieces, Darcy and Stacey. Sybil was born March 10, 1921 in St. John, NB. She lived her early years in Dromore, PEI. In her mid teens, she moved to Montreal, Quebec, where she later met Melio. They were married in 1946 and moved to Winnipeg where they raised their two sons, Lorne (1947) and Dean (1953). A private family entombment will take place at Assumption Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum, 3900 Portage Ave. Winnipeg, MB.
