LAURIE NICHOLS (nee MICHAELS) Suddenly in her home, Laurie joined the love of her life, Edward who predeceased her in 1997. She is survived by her sister Minnie (Michael) Chaikoski; nieces, Joy Harrison of Kelowna, and Lynn Lessard; nephews, Robert Carson and Douglas Chaikoski and their children; brother-in-law Bernard Nichols and his family. After graduating with an Arts Degree, Laurie was employed by the Federal Government until her retirement. Tending her many plants indoors and in her garden filled her hours. Her success with difficult to grow plants gave her a challenge. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Laurie's name may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
