GEORGE MICHAEL DEMKIW It is with extremely heavy hearts we announce the untimely and sudden passing of our son, brother, husband, father and grandfather on Tuesday, April 24, 2007. George will be forever missed by his best friend and wife Deb; daughters, Lee-Anna (Mike), Lynn (Cory); grandson Cade; mother Anna; father Ivan; mother-in-law Liesel; sister Mary (Dan); brothers, Terry (Carol), Michael (Lana); sisters-in-law, Annie (Jim), Tracy (Orest); brother-in-law Wolfgang (Judy); nieces, Chelsea, Samantha, Karlene, Amy, Madison, Jenna; nephews, Matthew (Trish), Nick, Tristan, Adrian (Kayla); great-niece Jessica; great-nephews, Tyrell and Zack. George was born August 23, 1957 in Winnipeg where he resided all his life. He graduated from West Kildonan Collegiate in 1975. He spent the past 21 years with the City of Winnipeg Transit as an operator. Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St., with Rt. Rev. Msgr.
