We thank God for her life of faith and she will be loving remembered by her husband and best friend of 41 years, Bob; her father Andy Kurtz; sister Lois Webster (Allan); nieces, Lisa Bayko (Gary), Kelly Leung (Brent) and great- nieces, Hannah and Emma; aunt Marty Koehler; other family members and many friends. She was predeceased by her mother Elsie Kurtz. God in His wisdom gave her to us for 63 years, she touched so many lives with her faith, sense of humour, compassion, intelligence and love of life and her Lord. We were so blessed by so many people over the last two years and thank the Cross Cancer Institute doctors, nurses and staff for their care, compassion and thoughtfulness and with a special thank you to our family physician, Dr. John Clarke and Pastor Lee Loveridge. A special place in our hearts belongs to our brothers and sisters in Christ at King of Kings and St. Peter's Lutheran in St. Albert and Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Winnipeg; as well as other friends, St. Albert Help Society and Home Care. The care, compassion and kindness received reminded us that we were never alone as we made this journey. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held Wednesday, May 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1541 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg with Pastor Jim Fritsche officiating. A private family interment was held at the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beautiful Savior Lutheran School. Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor. 15:57 To send condolences, visit www.parkmemorial.com Park Memorial Edmonton (780) 426-0050 Family Owned Funeral Home, Crematorium, Reception Centre
