VIOLA TRUDEAU (nee DESROCHERS) It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Viola, aged 73, on Thursday, April 26, 2007. Viola is lovingly remembered by her children Guy (Marie), Monique, Keith (Nancy) and André (Heather), grandchildren Jean-Guy, Natalie, Denelle, David, Geneviève and Dérique, her brothers Raymond (Sylvia) and Rudy (Julie), as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond in 1996. Viola was born in Mariapolis, Manitoba but married and raised her family in St. Boniface. In her leisure, she enjoyed her sewing and crafts and was an avid bingo player. In spite of her medical condition, Viola kept her spirits high, enjoyed life, and spending time with her grandchildren, who meant everything to her. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Deer Lodge Centre for their care and compassion for the past year. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald St., with Fr. Ronald Léger, C.S.V. Viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date at the St. Vital Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1P6.
