DARLA ROBIN WHITE March 26, 1962 April 26, 2007 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Darla White, our beloved daughter, sister, auntie and friend on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Stonewall General Hospital. She will be lovingly remember by her parents, Bob and Vivian; brothers, Derek (Lynette, Leontine, Carl) and Dain (Kristine, Taylor, Konner) and many relatives and friends. Darla was employed with Corrections Canada working as an Administrations Clerk for 12 years at Stony Mountain Penitentiary. She was an active Executive member of the USGE/PSAC Union holding the position of 3rd VP for several years. She volunteered for organizations such as the Women's Breast Cancer Awareness and charities including The United Way to raise money for causes she truly believed in. She took great pride in being a Creative Memories and Pampered Chef consultant and was a true inspiration to all whom she came in contact with. Darla would call them Workshops , but she expressed her zest for life through her crafts such as scrapbooking and card making. Darla's greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews whom she truly adored. Darla's unconditional love and giving nature, sense of humour and devotion have helped us all and will always be remembered in our hearts. Forever adored and loved by her friends and relatives, Darla would want us to keep singing, dancing, taking care of each other, and having a wonderful life. The family would like to express their heart felt gratitude for the care and comfort provided by all the family, friends, and the doctors and staff at the Stonewall Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Quagg's Kitten Kaboodle and Stray Cat Rescue at 970 St. Mary's Rd, Winnipeg, MB, Women's Breast Cancer Awareness or the United Way. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall, MB. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
