Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH YURKOWSKI It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather Joseph Yurkowski at the age of 91 years on Sunday, April 29, 2007. Joseph was born in Transcona, November 26, 1915. He leaves to mourn his cherished wife Helen; children, Deanna (Guy) Hobman, Joyce (Wayne) Fraser, Mal (Kathy) Yurkowski; grandchildren, Michelle, Paul and Christine. Joseph was an honest, hard-working man who devoted his life to his family. He took an early retirement from his job at the Board of Grain Commissioners giving him time to enjoy his passions of golfing, curling and berry and mushroom picking. Joseph was known and loved by all for his ever cheerful smile and willingness to help family and friends with whatever was needed. How lucky we have been to have had this wonderful man with us as long as we did. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. GREEN ACRES Funeral Home and Cemetery Hwy #1 E. at Navin (204) 222-3241
