ALBERT GURICAN It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather, Albert Gurican, on April 29, 2007 at the Ste. Anne Hospital, after a brief illness, at the age of 79 years, with his loving wife, Martha, at his side. Albert was born in Hornany, Slovakia on August 14, 1927. He was predeceased by his parents and by his brother Frank. Besides Martha, his beloved wife of 52 years, Albert will also be lovingly remembered by his children, Dianna, Allan and Arlene; grandchild-ren, Kayla, Teresa, Nicole and Alexandra; and sister Amelia of Victoria, BC, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Albert farmed the land where he grew up. He farmed all of his life, right to the very end, and raised his family in the Dufresne area. He loved to read current news in the daily paper, repair things, putter in the garage, go for a ride and coffee in town. He loved his family and looked forward to the children's visits from Alberta each summer. We wish to thank the nurses and staff at the Ste. Anne Hospital, during his brief stay, for their kindness and care, and also to the wonderful family for their visits and help during this difficult time. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
