Lucy is also survived by her sister-in-law Margie Binder, and her family. Lucy was born in Rovno, Poland and immigrated with her parents to Canada at a very young age. Lucy was raised in a family devoted to their Judaism. Blessed with a beautiful voice, she was a soloist in many community choirs and at weddings. In 1948, she met the love of her life, Irving Bricker, a Holocaust survivor. Known for her flaming red hair, impeccable style and attention to detail, Lucy truly put her unique stamp on Winnipeg Drapery. The business flourished and is currently run today by their children. Lucy was a very happy, outgoing and friendly individual known for her pleasant nature and smile. She faced life's path with her ever-present smile and made the best of everything. After Irving's passing, at a young age, her children and grandchildren became the focus of her life.
