EDNA MCPHERSON Peacefully on May 1, 2007 at the Percy E. Moore Hospital, our mother, grandmother and sister, Edna McPherson of Peguis First Nation, passed away at the age of 83 years. Edna is survived by her children, Cyril, Doug, Noreen, Jack, Clarence, Walt, Sig, Myra, Irma, Geraldine and Joyce; brothers, William, Kenny, Andy and Norman; sisters, Evelyn, Dorothy, Christie, Sybil and Loreen; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Edna was predeceased by her husband Cyril McPherson Sr.; parents, Martha and Alex Sinclair; son Wayne; daughter Dorothy. Edna was born in 1924 at the St. Peter's reserve. She later went to residential school in Brandon. Edna was a hard working woman working at the old Fisher River Hospital and then at the Percy E. Moore Hospital for 23 years until she retired. Edna loved playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren. A wake service will be held on Friday, May 4, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Peguis, MB, with Pastor Ron Favell officiating.
