She was born in Winnipeg, Canada, daughter of John and Martha Lord Lavery, both deceased. Two brothers, Paul of Toronto and Lawrence Lavery of Montreal preceded her in death. A brother Marc Lavery and Betty Lavery live in Palm Desert. A brother John Lavery and a sister Loraine live in Canada.
