JOSEPHINE ALDA FOURNIER Peacefully passed away at Whitemouth Personal Care Home on Sunday, May 6, 2007 at age 91. She was predeceased by her husband George and son Dennis, Jo is survived by her children, Janeen Byman, Leona (Glenn) Butchart, Leo (Mia), and Pat Furlong; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Olive and Berthe and brothers, Eugene and Wilfred. She will also be missed by special friend and companion George Towns. Jo was born and raised in Landerville, MB. After moving to Lac du Bonnet she was employed by Canada Post and was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Ladies Auxiliary. In retirement she enjoyed many winters in Arizona. Special thanks to Dr. Jo Grayling, Sharon Kuzyk, Home Care workers and nursing staff at Whitemouth Personal Care Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Notre Dame du Lac Roman Catholic Church in Lac du Bonnet with Rev. Fr. Mirek Szynal presiding. Interment will follow in the Lac du Bonnet Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #164.
