IAN MACPHEE It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ian MacPhee, on Sunday, May 6, 2007 at Concordia Hospital, with his family and friends by his side, love and laughter in the room, after a valiant battle. Ian MacPhee was born on October 16, 1941 in Glasgow, Scotland. His love of the great game' led him to be a professional footballer, and eventually brought him to Canada. A career in insurance brought him to Winnipeg. Ian is survived by the strongest woman he ever met, his beautiful wife, Mary and their three daughters, Jacqueline (Mike), Tracy (Andrew) and Marie (Carlos). Koko is gone far too soon for his adoring and adored grandchildren, Braeden, Aaron, Camryn and Austin. Ian will also be greatly missed by his brothers, Donnie, Peter, Lachlan and honorary brother Joe, and sister Katrina, as well as his many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends, all over the world. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2007, 10:30 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Highway. In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
