DONNA MEREL HARDMAN It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our mother, nana, sister and friend, Donna Merel Dennis Hardman. Cancer took mom May 7, 2007 at the St. Pierre Hospital. Donna was predeceased by her son Bruce in 1983. She will be forever missed by her five children, Kim of Kitchener, ON, Korey (Tracy), Terry (Sheila) of North Carolina, Tammy (Don) Lambert, and Kevin. She was a special mom to Alissa, Mark and Tracy. Nana loved her 13 grandchildren, Niki, Andre, James, Justin, Johnathan, Jordan, Taylor, Tyler, Terry, Julien, Colin, Gillian, and Micaylah. Donna was born in Cornwall, ON, October 17, 1945. She resided in Kitchener, ON until 1977 when she moved to Manitoba, later settling in St Malo. Mom's greatest accomplishment in life was the raising of her children, she was an extraordinary mother. Her love for children made her a special Nana to many. She will be missed by the many friends that have touched her life. Special thanks to Dr. Khalil for her loving care, to Gaby for your hugs and to the wonderful staff of the St. Pierre Hospital who took such good care of her. Visitation for those who wish will take place on Friday, May 11, 2007 - at Vita Funeral Homes St. Pierre Chapel , St Pierre, MB. An informal gathering of friends and family will take place on Saturday, May 12, 2007 - 2:00 p.m. at Vita Funeral Homes St Pierre Chapel , St Pierre, MB with viewing one hour prior. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Mom's deepest wish was to return home to Bruce in Ontario. A private service will be held in Ontario at a later date.
