Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE FREDRICK GILMOUR Lawrence passed away on May 7, 2007 suddenly and peacefully after cardiac arrest at the young age of 68 years. His special and dear friend Mary Gemmell of Regina, SK was by his side at his passing. Waiting for, and welcoming him home on the other side are his little sister Bonnie (1949 - 1951); his mother Marie (1911 - 2002); and his father David Gilmour (1915 - 1960). Lawrence leaves behind four children whom he loved very much, Bonnie Gilmour (Brent Nimilowich) of Saskatoon, SK, Heather Lewin (Jamie) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Gwenyn Anderson (Timothy) of Hudson, Wisconsin and David Gilmour of Kelliher, SK and their mother Joanne Gilmour of Regina, SK. He also leaves behind three extraordinary grandchildren, Tyler (10), Dylan (9) and Ava (4). He will also be dearly missed by his brother Brian Gilmour (Helen) of Winnipeg, MB and his sister Arlene Berkhout of White Rock, BC. Lawrence, a proud graduate of Brigham Young University, was a man of unshakeable integrity. A man of wisdom and experience, he guided, educated, mentored and cared for many. He knew where he came from and therefore carried himself with poise. A funeral service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 550 Sangster Boulevard, Regina, SK on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Winnipeg, MB on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined, in Lawrence's memory donations may be made to the Big Brothers of Regina, 452 Albert Street North, Regina, SK S4R 3C1.
