ELSIE HELENA CLARK (nee SHOLOGIN) 1918 - 2007 Peacefully on the morning of May 8, 2007 with her children near at hand, Mother left us to join Dad. Left to remember her are her daughters, Ruth (Hyrich), Gloria (Campos) and Holly and sons, John and Ronald, sons-in-law, John and Amador, daughters-in-law, Alecia and Marsha; grandchildren, John Jr., Jeffery, Jaun Carlos, Melissa, Yolanda, Elena, Angie, Alex, Amy, Kate and Keegan; 18 great-grandchildren; her brother Eugene Shologin; sister Lily Natchuk; her many nieces and nephews, and the many people in this life touched by her sweet nature. Mom was a loving human being who gave her children a safe, healthy and happy home filled with warmth, humour, fond memories and love. She had a zest for life, worked hard, loved her garden, always had a home-baked pie and a story to share, enjoyed the laughter and busyness of big family get togethers and was never afraid to try something new whether it was carpentry, millinery, reupholstering furniture or painting a landscape. Most of all she was a loving and devoted wife to her husband of 54 years John Nathan Clark who went before her on March 16, 1990. We know she is now at rest, smiling and safe in his embrace with her parents, Harry and Annie Shologin of Zhoda, MB, sisters, Mary and Maxine and nephews, Alan and Russell near at hand to welcome her. We miss you Mom. Special thanks to the staff at Victoria Hospital whose gentle care and kindness in her final days allowed her to leave this world with dignity and grace. Viewing will be held on Friday, May 11, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway, followed by a reception. Interment will be in Killarney Cemetery later in the afternoon. Flowers are gratefully declined however donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 Broadway~783-7211
