Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN DERKSEN June 20, 1926 May 9, 2007 Mr. John Derksen of Stony Plain, AB, formerly of Winnipeg, MB, passed away at the age of 80 years. John is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Maureen; his two sons: Kelly (Debi) and Fred (Brenda); his daughter Jamie (Rob) Ford; six grandchildren; his two sisters: Selma (Peter) Wiebe and Anne Friesen as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Nettie and his parents, John and Anna Derksen. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 14, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from Beach Corner Evangelical Free Church, Stony Plain, AB with Pastor Bill Meier officiating. Interment will follow in Inga Cemetery. If friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Beach Corner Evangelical Free Church Gym Fund, P.O. Box 2523, Stony Plain, AB T7Z 1X9.
