GEORGINA MABEL SENEBALD 1946 - 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Georgina on Thursday, May 10, 2007, after a valiant and hard fought five year battle with ovarian cancer. Georgina will be forever missed by her loving husband Ray; sons, James (Jenn), Clint (Lisa) and grandchildren, Rylee, Soren and Zander. Georgina was born in Minnedosa and was predeceased by her parents, Herb and Dorothy Taylor. She was a stay at home mom and community volunteer. She served as president of the St. Andrew's ACW, president of Deer Lodge Community Club, president of the Shrine Ladies Auxiliary, member of the City of Winnipeg RAP program as well as a member of the Daughters of the Nile. She enjoyed her many trips with Ray to Hawaii, as well as trips to Mexico and Texas. Georgina loved her last 10 years of retirement at her cottage at Lester Beach. Her green thumb really showed in her yard work. We would like to thank Drs. Krepart, Lotocki, Schroeder and Krcek and all the nurses in Clinic 3, 3rd floor Cancer Care and the 5th floor Ladies Pavilion for their professional care during Georgina's time spent there. In respect for her wishes, no formal service will be held. A gathering of remembrance will be held at the Deer Lodge Community Club, 323 Bruce Ave. (between Linwood and Albany) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 16th. In lieu of flowers, a donation to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, Room 1160, 675 McDermot Ave., R3E 0V9, or the Khartum Shrine Transportation Fund, 1155 Wilkes Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3P 1B9 would be appreciated.
