DICK (DIEDRICH) ENNS Dick was born in Paraguay on February 11, 1952 and moved to Canada on May 1, 1964. The family settled in Morden, where Dick went to school, until he started working at age 16 years. For most of his working career he worked on heavy equipment; on roads, and in the mines in Manitoba, British Columbia, Ontario, and the Yukon. Dick met Karen Dreger in 1976, and they were married on October 7, 1978. They started married life off in Leaf Rapids. Steven was born April 20, 1980, his Bud . He worked as Town Foreman for a number of years before moving to Morden in 1990. His Peanut Mikel was born July 4, 1991. The family moved to Morris in 1993 where Dick was Foreman for the town, later moving into construction. Dick thrived with many creative interests. In 2002 the family moved to their country residence, where Dick had a larger canvas, his work in progress being cut short on May 1, 2007. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Karen; sons, Mikel and Steven, Cara and Corinna, all of Morris; his father William Enns of Altona; sisters and brothers, Sadie (Isaac) Hildebrand of Paraguay, Susie Bergen of Lone Butte, BC, Annie Hildebrand of Paraguay, Barb Schroeder, Willie (Anna) Enns all of Winkler, Ike (Irene) Enns of Altona, John (Debi) Enns of Winnipeg, Tina (Kevin) Perry of Las Vegas, Maria (Mel) Nickel of Altona, Frank (Sandra) Enns of Cranbrook, BC; mother-in-law Luzy Dreger of Winnipeg, brother-in-law Karl (Laura) Dreger of Altona; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. If friends so desire, donations in Dick's memory can be made to a Trust Fund for Mikel Enns at the Agassiz Credit Union in Morris. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone for their comforting support through food, flowers, phone calls, trust donations, visits, prayers, and hugs. Arrangements by the Morris Funeral Home.
