ROSALIE SAURETTE (nee GUILLOU) What a precious moment in time it must have been when Rosalie Saurette our Mom, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother arrived in Heaven. Sadly we had to say goodbye to Mom on Tuesday, May 8, 2007. Rosalie was born in Aubigny, MB in 1922 and lived there until 17 years ago when she and Dad retired in Steinbach. Mom had just recently established a new home at the Repos Jolys in St. Pierre, MB. She shared her love of writing by penning many short stories and poems for her family to enjoy. Through these stories she spread wisdom and love and values. She was gentle as a dove and braved all storms. Each and every one of us is now left to continue our journey without her, but always remembering her unconditional love and unconditional caring. Left to remember her smile are her six children - Yvette Bruneau, Johnny, Maurice (Jacqueline), Lionel (Nicole), Linda, and Simone (Allan) Penner; 20 grandchildren - Mona (Blair) Fallis, Roger (Peggy) Bruneau, Jocelyne (Larry) Hall, Carole (George Henley) Bruneau, Robert (Arlene) Bruneau, Josée (Trevor) Walters, Sharlynn, Luke, Marc, Jamie, Joel (Ashley), Martin (Julie), Grégoire, Daniel, and Rémi (Mary Ann) Saurette, Nanette Richards and Suzette (Jason) Naylor, Kyle (Ashley), Chad and Darcy Penner; and 15 great-grandchildren; a sister Yvonne Lussier, a brother Yves Guillou and two sisters-in-law. Greeting Mom in Heaven will be our Dad, Georges Saurette, her son Paul Saurette and her granddaughter Tara Saurette. The funeral services will be held on Monday, May 14th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Malo Catholic Church, St. Malo, MB. Internment will be later in the day in Aubigny, MB. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to De Salaberry District Health Centre Foundation (RE: REPOS JOLYS) or CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Thank you to Dr. Krahn for his many years of tender care for Mom, and a huge thank you to the staff at the Repos Jolys for the love and care they gave our Mother during the last eight months. She loved you! Au revoir Maman, Memére, Great-Grandmawe will love you forever... Arrangements entrusted to Vita Funeral Homes, St. Pierre Chapel, 362 Sabourin St., St. Pierre, MB.
