Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANSISCUS (FRANK) VAN DE LAAR It is with deep regret that we announce the passing Fransiscus (Frank) Van De Laar, Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at the Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 87. Frank will be missed by his sons, Marinus, Frank Jr. (Helen), Robert (Leslie), and Lois Van De Laar. Left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Lesly, Marcy, Kristen, Donna, Daniel, Sheila, Sabrina, Jason, Nicole, Michael, as well as 18 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews in Holland. Frank was born February 28, 1920 in Mierlo-Hout, NB Holland. He married Mary (deceased August 26, 2006) on June 27, 1942, and had three sons. The family immigrated to Canada in April of 1957, originally living in the North End and moved to Fort Garry in 1964 until he moved to a retirement home on Boulten Bay in 2006. Frank in his early years worked at St. John Brebeuf School and later as the chief engineer at St. Mary's Academy until his retirement. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Frank's life will take place on Tuesday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivary Blvd. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donation in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg MB, R3L 0K6 THOMSON IN THE PARK FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY 1291 McGillivray Blvd www.thomsoninthepark.com 925-1120
