Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySYEMAN (SAM) KRYWCHUK It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Syeman (Sam) Krywchuk on May 9, 2007 after a short illness with his loving family at his side at the age of 86. Sam leaves to mourn his stepchildren, Shirley and Bill and their respective families. He also leaves to mourn his companion Pearl Leslie and family; favourite son-in-law Roman Stoyko (Jody Kerr); numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Anne and son Edward. Sam was born in the Ukraine on May 31, 1920 and came to the Argyle area at the age of nine with his family. He served overseas in the Canadian Army for three and one half years then worked at Bristol Aerospace as an upholsterer until he retired in 1985. Sam was a kind, compassionate, gentle soul who loved to joke and tell stories. He was a member of the Norwood Legion #43 and they will be in attendance at the service. The family would like to thank Dr. Karen Humphreys and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital 5th floor, section B for their care and compassion. A Celebration of Sam's Life will be held on Tuesday, May 15 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's River Heights United Church, 255 Oak Street with Rev. Dr. Terry Hidichuk and Rev. Janet Walker officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined; donations may be made in Sam's memory to the St. Andrew's United Church River Heights Foundation or to a charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
