JEANNETTE LAVALLEE (nee LAURENDEAU) June 5, 1942 May 9, 2007 It is with great sadness and sorrow that the family announces the passing of Jeannette Lavallée, at home surrounded by her family, on May 9, 2007. Although Jeannette suffered for the past couple of years, she drifted off into a very peaceful sleep. Her memory will be forever cherished by her loving children and grandchildren who always looked up to Mom and Memére; children: Dwight Butch (Joyce), Lucille Squeaky (Bill), Paul Poncho (Tara), Marie-Anne Peanut (Rob), Kenneth Kenny (Darlene); grandchildren: Robin, Mathew, Joshua, Cory (Rebecca), Christy (Adam), B.J. (Angie), Patrick, Ryan, Nathan, Kyle, Scott, Alex, Liam, Joel, Alicia (Blair) and Nicholas and great-grandson Menphis. She also leaves one brother Louis (Delores), sister Marie-Anne, brothers-in-law Wayne (Linda) and Adrian, sister-in-law June, nieces, nephews and extended family. Jeannette was predeceased by her parents, sister Rose, brother Roland, parents-in-law, grandson Daniel and her lifelong love and husband Murray. At this time the family would like to extend their thanks to the WRHA Palliative Care Unit staff. Special thanks to Ola, Harriet, Monique, Sandy and Deb and staff at Grace Hospital I.C.U. and 3 South. To a very special Mom and Memère. Until we meet again. We love you. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16 at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald Street, with Father Ron Léger, C.S.V. presiding. Inurnment of the cremated remains will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Garden's Mausoleum. The Desjardins Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements 233-4949; toll free 1-888-233-4949.
