GORDON ALEXANDER DUNNING Surrounded by his loving family, after a lengthy illness, Gordon went home to be with our Lord and Saviour on Friday, May 11, 2007. Gordon was predeceased by his mother Frances, father Alexander and son Leslie Scott. Gordon leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife Deloris; daughters, Cheryl, Shirley (Allan), Linda (Wilfred), Illa; sons, Jim (Susana), Therin (Rhonda), Jason (Ardell); sisters, Mary (Tim), Dian, Audrey (Dan), Charlene (Lawrence); brothers, Charles (Leona), Gary, Brian (Holly); 25 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and Uncle Babes. The family would like to extend heart felt appreciation to Dr. Paul Demoissac and staff at the Ste. Anne's hospital for their care and compassion. As we go down that long grey highway and as we look up out of our windows in the blue skies, we see your heart filled with tears and fears and now it's filled with smiles and happiness. Our dear husband, father and brother, we all want you to be happy in your new world, as there will be no more hurt, just peace in your heart. Now Gord, rest in peace. We know there will be more smiles and no more tears. We will all see you again some day. And now we have our heart and soul filled with your loving memory. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave., Winnipeg, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations will be kindly accepted at the memorial service for the Canadian Diabetes Association.
