JOSEPH WILSON (TOMATO) SINCLAIR November 10, 1930 - May 10, 2007 Peacefully with his family by his side, Joseph Wilson Sinclair of Fisher River, went home to be with the Lord, at the age of 76 years, at the Health Sciences Centre. Joe leaves to cherish his memory his children, Harlene, Morton (special daughter-in-law Kelly), Jimmy, Leon (Shirley), Claudine, Corwin (Michelle), Marcie, Sharon (John) Mann and Wilson (Ellen) McKay; 27 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother William; special sisters, Sharon (Fred), Pearl, Audrey and Carrie; special brothers, Ralph (Iris), Keith (Emily) and Lloyd (Sandy); brothers and sisters-in-law, Evelyn McLaren, Clarence and Russell Deaffie, Mary Stagg, Isabel (Michael) Crate and Edith Sinclair; special son-in-law Johnny Cool; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Joe was predeceased by his loving wife Sarah of 48 years on October 14, 2006; parents, Harry and Alice Sinclair; brothers, Arnold (Blueberry) and Jimmy; sister Edith; daughter Corrine; in-laws, Solomon and Carrie Deaffie, Hector and Sarah Deaffie, Sarah Jane Marsden, Ben Deaffie and Daniel Stagg; and nephew Jamie Crate. Joe was better known as Tomato. He worked hard all his life as a heavy equipment operator in construction, as a trapper and as a fisherman for 50 plus years. Joe was a dedicated and loving father who lived for his grandchildren. He was a caring and compassionate man who liked to humour everyone whom he met. Many thanks to MICU at the Health Sciences Centre, Percy E. Moore Hospital and the Peguis and Arborg ambulance for their special care during this difficult time; Fisher River Chief and Council, numerous relatives and friends for their love and support. Wake service will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2007, at 8:00 a.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 14, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Steven's Memorial Church, Fisher River, MB, with Rev. John Halcrow and John McKay officiating. Interment will follow at the Steven's Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to: ANDERSON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME 1-866-293-4951
