BETTY GUENTHER December 2, 1919 May 10, 2007 Passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital at the age of 87. She will be missed by her sister Olly Dick, sister-in-law, Irma Guenther; Ernie Rischer, Astrid Peters, Paul Rischer, Carla Toews and their families to whom she was like a second mom; other nephews and nieces whom she loved and many friends who were very valuable to her. She was a world traveller and enjoyed seeing the sights with many of her friends. Her faith in her loving God was unshakable to the very end. She loved her church and was involved in ministries all her life. She had a long career as a Trust Officer at Canada Permanent Trust, which she thoroughly enjoyed. In spite of many health issues, she continued to have a positive outlook on life. A viewing visitation will be held at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Family interment will take place prior to the service. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Portage Avenue Church, 1420 Portage Avenue.
