Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK TAZUMI Frank Tazumi peacefully passed away on Thursday, May l0, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family. Frank will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Kim; his children, Keith (Karen), Sharon, Jeff (Denise) and grandchildren Kendra, Derek, Ryan and Brendan. Frank was predeceased by his father Asajiro Tazumi and mother Kogane Tazumi; brothers, Harry, Harold and Steve Tazumi; sisters, Kay Hirayama and Kathy Kaita and son-in-law Stuart Peloski. Frank was born on August 4, 1927 in Hammond, BC. He, along with his family, was evacuated to Manitoba in l942. In 1955 he married his loving wife Kim and together they raised three children. Frank worked at Service Electric as an electrician for over 30 years. After his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at the cottage that he had built at Pinawa Bay. Frank especially cherished his time spent with his four grandchildren. Unfortunately, he suffered a stroke shortly after retirement which limited his physical capabilities but did not diminish his spirit. Frank was a loving husband to Kim, a strong role model to his children and a kind and generous grandfather to his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all. The family wishes to thank everyone for their support and kindness during Frank's illness. Special thanks to Dr. Mark Susser, the Homecare staff and especially Kevin Donnelly who made Frank's life more comfortable. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 0K6.
