MARION CHILDS Peacefully on May 12, 2007 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Marion passed away at the age of 71. Mom was born May 3, 1936, and spent her time raising her family and enjoying her grand-children. Left to mourn Mom's passing are her sons, Bradley Childs, Darrell Childs; daughters, Sheila Childs (Joe Lindsay and Baby), Corinne Campbell (Mark); grandsons, Troy and Todd; brothers, George Strewchuk (Eva), Roy Strewchuk (Karen) and sister Valerie Bailey (Gary) and many nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by her husband Clayton (2001), parents, George Strewchuk (2005), Elsie Strewchuk (1998) and brother Fred Strewchuk (2001). The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Bhanot and the nursing staff fifth floor, Unit 6 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. A special thanks to Dr. R. Bhayana, Wendy Sersun, Nancy Clark-Landry and all home care staff. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Alan Armstrong officiating. A private interment will take place at Glen Eden at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marion's memory to the Manitoba Lung Association.
