Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL B. UNRAU February 3, 1934 May 14, 2007 Paul B. Unrau passed away peacefully Monday, May 14, 2007 after many years of poor health. His wife, Mary, was at his side. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Mary; daughter Kim (Kyle), grandchildren Graham, Davis and Erin; son Robert (Pamela), grandchildren Zachary, Jared, Taya and Keagan; son Brad (Juanita); special nephew Greg (Dale), granddaughter Keelin. Paul also leaves behind many dear siblings, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Paul was born in Gretna, Manitoba and lived there and in Grunthal until his adulthood when he moved to Alberta. On October 7, 1961 he married his sweetheart, Mary Wiebe. They lived in Edmonton, Alberta, Springstein, Manitoba and finally Winnipeg. Paul was baptized upon the confession of his faith in his Lord Jesus Christ at Springstein Mennonite Church. He worked for Healy Motors in Alberta, Simcoe Motors and MetrolPol Securities in Manitoba, retiring in February, 1996 because of poor health. In November, 2005 he and Mary retired to Bethel Place and have enjoyed the fellowship and community they found there. Our family would like to give thanks to the nurses and doctors at Health Sciences and Grace Hospital for all their wonderful, patient and compassionate care over the years. Also thanks to Doctors Milner, Cohen, Wiseman and Harris. Viewing will be held at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St. on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a time for refreshments and visiting afterwards. Funeral service will be held at Springstein Mennonite Church, Springstein, Manitoba on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing prior to the service. Burial at Springstein Cemetery after the service. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, 400-280 Smith St., Winnipeg, R3C 1K2.
