YVETTE BRETECHER (nee FORTIN) It is with deepest sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Yvette Bretecher on Sunday, May 13, 2007 in Winnipeg at the age of 78 years. Remaining to forever cherish Yvette's memory are her children, Donald (Sharon), Elise (Lorne) Reynolds, Paulette (Robert) Pich, Valerie (Orest) Pich, Gisele (Fred Tycoles), Larry (Lorie-Anne) and Lisa (Chris) Blake; 15 grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Albert; and her grandson Marc. Yvette's faith in her loving God was unbroken to the very end. She loved her church and was involved in it in many ways all her life. Yvette loved music, knitting, the cottage and surrounding herself with family and friends. Prayers will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Paul The Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Mark Tarrant, presiding. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 18, at 2:00 p.m. in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, Toutes-Aides, Manitoba with Rev. Fr. Armand Le Gal, O. M. I., presiding.
