Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGARETT LEE SIDOR 1989 ~ 2007 It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Garett Sidor on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at St. Boniface Hospital. Garett will be forever remembered by Mom Robbi-Lynn (Dean), Dad Lance (Tara), Brent, sisters, Ashton and Taylor, grandparents, John and Betty Turenne, Jo-Anne Sidor, Ray and Claire Burns, Bob and Cookie Essery, great- grandmother Marion Scrimshaw, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. Garett was predeceased by Grandma Donna, Grandpa Terry and Uncle Trent. Garett attended Windsor Park Collegiate, Lorette Collegiate, and General Vanier Elementary. He excelled in sports including hockey, volleyball, and basketball. Garett was named a Manitoba All-star in AAA Basketball Provincials as well as named to the All Manitoba Team. He received many MVP awards in all sports he played. Garett's basketball skills earned him a full scholarship to attend Lakeland College in Lloydminster, Alberta. He will be remembered by his friends for his kindness, caring, his sense of humour and wonderful smile. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2007 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Thank you to all the friends and family for all their support during this difficult time. Donations may be made in Garett's memory to the Manitoba High School Athletic Association.
