MARGARET A.F. KOCIAN-COCHRANE It is with deep sorrow and sadness that the family announces the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on May 15, 2007 at the age of 90. Mom will be sadly missed by her son Bob (Carol) Kocian, Canmore, AB; daughters, Hazel Gluting, Calgary, AB, Dorothy (Bob) Caron, Maple Ridge, BC, Shirley (Rick) Engstrom and Gail (Attila) Koppanyi of Winnipeg, MB, and Margaret (John) Wall, Winkler, MB. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren and 26 great- grandchildren. Born and raised in Hamiota, MB, she spent her younger years in the rural area of the province before moving to Winnipeg in the late 1940s where she lived the rest of her life. Mom was a long time member of the IOF where she met and made many life long friends. She joined the Forester bowling league which she enjoyed weekly well into her 89th year. Baking cookies and making perogies for her family and friends were some of her favourite pastimes. The family would especially like to thank the wonderful staff at Concordia Place for the compassionate care they gave to our Mother and for making a very difficult period in our lives much easier. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul. Pallbearers will be six of her grandsons, Wayne, Keith, and Rob Kocian, Doug and Don Engstrom and Gordon Caron. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Concordia Foundation, 1095 Concordia Ave., R2K 3S8, please designate donations to Concordia Place Personal Care Home.
