Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAMY ISABEL TYE (nee O'DOWDA) It is with deep sadness, that we announce the peaceful passing of Amy with her family by her side on May 13, 2007 at the age of 82 years at the Kildonan Personal Care Home. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Debbie (Allen) Pitt; grandchildren, Aaron (Donna) Pitt; great-grandchildren, Keerstin, Ayden and Avery; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law Bernice. She was predeceased by husband Allan Tye; brothers, Bob (Eileen), Ernie (Grace), Jimmy O'Dowda; sisters, Marie (Stuart) Lumsden, Kay (Jake) Wiebe; brothers-in-law, Jack (Nellie), Gordon Tye; sisters-in-law, Fern Ellis and Bernice (Sid) Stevens, and niece Jackie Lawson. Amy was born and raised in the family home in Elmwood where she resided until June of last year. Amy loved sewing, baking and taking care of her family. She loved her soap operas and watching old movies. Her greatest joy was her grandson and great-grandchildren. We would like to thank the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Home for their heartfelt care and compassion. If friends so desire, donations can be made to a children's charity or a charity of their own choice. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
