BEATRICE MARY HUFF (nee KIRTON) July 29, 1930 - January 10, 2007 Peacefully in her sleep, at home, on January 10, 2007, Mom left us to join her family in heaven. Mom is survived by her seven children, Angela (Wayne) Sherwood, Walter (Lynn), Alfred (Joann), Debbie (Myron) Pawliw, Randy (Wanda), Kimberly (Dennis) Rumak, Sharon (John Vanthul); 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her brothers and sisters, Beaulah Gitlin (California, USA), Jean Huff (Calgary, AB), Rosina McLean (Vancouver, BC), Holger (Ann) Hansen (Brandon, MB), Einar (Pat) Hansen (Winnipeg, MB) and their families; her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Leonard Huff (Winnipeg, MB), Gerhard Huff (Winnipeg Beach, MB), Emma Sutherland and Violet McLeod (Calgary, AB), Veronica Huff (Winnipeg, MB) and all their families. Waiting to greet Mom at Heaven's Gates were her husband Walter of 50 years; her parents William and Mary-Ann Kirton (Hansen); step-father Holger Hansen; brothers-in-law, Gus, Carl, George, Gus Auch, Stu Sutherland; sisters-in-law, Annie and Marie; father- and mother-in-law, Gottlieb and Ella Huff; as well as many of Mom's close friends, bingo and senior card players. A memorial service was held on Monday, January 15, 2007, at the First United Lutheran Church in Flin Flon. Officiating the service was provided by Mom's close friend and confidant Paster Richard Zimmerman. Cremation has taken place. Dadson Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements per Mom's request.
