GLEN DAVID UNGER Glen unexpectedly passed away in Toronto on September 27, 2006 at the age of 45 years. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his parents, John and Emily Unger; brother Chris (Bonnie); sisters, Karen Colton (Phil) and Rosalie Kardynal; and special friend Serena Leung; as well as his nieces, nephew, uncles, aunts and cousins. Born in Winnipeg on October 15, 1960, Glen left to pursue opportunities in Ontario at a young age. After purchasing and restoring his own boat, he spent many years living and working around the marina in Mississauga before starting his own specialty welding company. Although he missed being near his family, Glen made friends easily and loved living in Toronto, where he had just moved into his new home be the lake. A private interment will take place. Glen will be laid to rest with his Granny at Brookside Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family in a remembrance celebration at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23 at 172 Oxford St. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation for all the expressions of condolences received. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or charity of your choice.
