EDNA JACKSON Peacefully on Thursday, May 17, 2007, Edna Jackson passed away at the River East Personal Care home at the age of 87 years. Edna was predeceased by her husband, Robert (Bob) Jackson. She is survived by her brother Raymond Sandquist, and nieces and nephews, Sharon, Darlene, Carol, Don, Ron and Susan and their families. Edna worked for many years as a LPN, retiring from the Health Sciences Centre. She was affectionately known as Mac by her colleagues. Edna loved the outdoors and was especially fond of the time she spent at the cabin in Ontario. She loved to dance and led a very active and vibrant life and was loved by all who knew her. Edna was also a long-time member of John Black United Church. A Funeral service will held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Viewing will be held 30 minutes prior to the service. Following a reception, burial will be in Brookside Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of River East Personal Care home for the care and support given to Edna during a very difficult time.
