Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHAWN EVERETT CURRIE November 27, 1973 May 15, 2007 Shawn Everett Currie of Tyndall, MB died suddenly at work on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 in Minnedosa, MB. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Andrea and two young sons, Shae and Dallas. He is also survived by his father Paul Currie of Tyndall, one brother Allan Currie and partner Kim Solleveld of Winnipeg, his grandmother Ida Currie of Stanley, NB, mother-in-law Roxanne Turgeon and partner Blaine Mason of Alberta, father-in-law Jacques Turgeon of Kamloops, BC, and his sisters-in-law, Christine of Calgary and Nicole Turgeon of Toronto. Also mourning his passing are his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Shawn was predeceased by his mother Eleanor, who lost her life to cancer in 2003, his grandfather Herb Currie and maternal grandmother Jennie (Baba) Serwa. Shawn spent his life doing what he loved best fishing, hunting, camping with his family, carpentry work and playing his guitar. All of his life, Shawn believed that if you were doing something, you should do it well. In his professional, as well as his personal life, that belief served him well. A memorial service celebrating Shawn's all too brief life will be held on Monday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue. E., Beausejour with Rev. Jim Wolfe officiating. In accordance with Shawn's wishes, cremation has taken place. E-mail condolences may be sent to sfccrem@mts.net.
