Nixon passed away peacefully at Presbyterian Homes in Minneapolis, MN at the age of 69 after a long struggle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Helene; sons John (Amy) of N.Y., David (Joyce); daughter Michele; granddaughters Elizabeth and Alexandra; brother Anthony (Elaine) of U.K.; step-brothers Paul Copper of U.K. and Christopher Nixon of Australia, many other family members, colleagues and friends. A Service of Remembrance was held on May 10 at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata, MN. Messages of condolence may be placed at www.startribune.com/obituaries
